It was great to kick off at Camberwell Mosque again yesterday. We had eleven students and three volunteers (thanks to Steve, Waheed and Abdul). We started in a circle and shared stories about ourselves. We found out that Hamed wants to be a bus driver but doesn’t have a driving licence, Dermot has failed his driving test three times and counting, and that Jose was born in Venezuela but has built a life in Italy. At the end of the class Titi made an impassioned speech demanding computers to support her learning. Anyone got any laptops to donate??
