A huge group (25 people) from our Greenwich classes attended this term’s trip to the Greenwich Heritage Centre in Woolwich. We can highly recommend the museum and particularly the ESOL quiz organised by the education manager. The temporary exhibition has some really fascinating objects and the permanent exhibition strikes a good balance between military and social history. We rounded off the day with drinks and snacks at the wonderful Fire Cafe. Thanks to the City Bridge Trust for funding the trip. We now know a lot more about our local history.
